I want to report that I was able to successfully use this card under Linux
RH 6.1 (kernel 2.2.14) on a NEC Versa LX laptop 
after editing the following line inside file `/etc/ppp/config.opts':

    include port 0x100-0x4ff, port 0x1000-0x17ff

With the provious `include', the pcmcia module loaded the card at port >
0x1000, and the card refused to work. 
Not including port range 0x1000-0x17ff solved the problem. Thus the line was
set to:

    include port 0x100-0x4ff

Hope this can help someone else.
